Bylaws, Finances, and Reports
Bylaws
Corporation’s bylaws contain the rules for the running of the corporation, and provide the rules and regulations required for a group to run efficiently and effectively. The bylaws regulate the conduct of directors, officers, and shareholders and set forth rules governing internal affairs. They can include definitions of management’s duties, as well as times, locations, and voting procedures for meetings that affect the corporation. By-laws are an essential part of the Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group, and have been placed on this website for anyone to view.
If you have any questions, concerns or comments regarding SAWIG’s bylaws, please the Watershed Coordinator at stratfordwater@gmail.com or at 902-367-3605.

SAWIG strives to be an ‘open door’ organization, with anyone free to join, participate or comment on anything they feel is important within their watershed! That being said, our Annual General Meetings are often filled with input and conversation, as residents, members and volunteers enthusiastically provide their concerns and ideas for a brighter, healthier and safer environment.
